The Hospital Trip...................
It just happens you know that urge you have to give birth, You have all the things ready for
baby, you have phone numbers, family on stand by, friends waiting to meet you at any moment.
Bags are packed and ready for you, the baby, and daddy, its the biggest event you all have been waiting for, Everybody ,even the family pet has been waiting for this day 9mths/38-42wks, You been pregnant almost a year, And after a while you feel as if your never going to give birth, This baby just doesn't want to "COME OUT "!!!
Then its the magic words everybody wants to hear "IT'S TIME" The order of which all this is suppose to take place turns to "PANIC" everybody has forgotten there lines and the rehearsal is a flop. So.............The trip to the hospital goes in slow motion and so does the traffic. Now your there, What now?
The Waiting Game...............................
As things go into motion your pains intense, your being checked out frim head to toes and some other places that are uncomfortable,How else is this gonna happen? Without being physically invaded,
Time is going by slowly and your being prep and put into awkward postions and hooked up to ivs and given medicine,Your nervous, Daddy is nervous, family starts arriving, The cell phone want stop ringing, everybody in your Life is awaiting the new "Life of The Party"
The nurse comes in, The doctor doesn't show up till way later................The pain can be extreme or mild, giving natural birth is what we all want, but with medicines and new techniques you have options,Just pick C !The Pain Killer !! We'll, Some of us have the C-section. Still we wait and wait, long hours, Family, and Friends, Others sit by the phone waiting for " The Newborn ".
The AfterBirth...............................
The Baby is " HERE", All that time, All the pain, All the waiting has brought you a miracle.
" What a Life " That has come from another human is " The Most amazing Thing In The World " What Two People have Created "
Has a face, two eyes,two ears, a nose, a mouth, two arms, ten fingers, two legs, ten toes, and just a touch of hair.
Then there is a cry, The beginning of just the millions you will hear for the rest if your life .
THE next thing now is.............Taking baby home
